Our Warranty, in Plain English
Every $25/ft install is backed by a Lifetime Workmanship + 3-Year Parts Warranty. Here’s exactly what that means — what’s covered, what isn’t, and how to get help.
Your install is protected two ways: Lifetime Workmanship (our install labor is covered for as long as you own your home) plus a 3-Year Parts warranty (full parts and labor on the LEDs and aluminum track). Claims are handled directly by the local team that installed your lights.
Lifetime Workmanship
As long as you own your home
- Install labor and mounting quality
- Wiring, connections, and channel alignment
- Any callback to fix an install-related issue
- Non-transferable — covers the original homeowner
3-Year Parts
3 years from install date
- Full parts + labor on the LED lights
- Full parts + labor on the aluminum track
- Controller and power supply defects
- We come out, diagnose, and replace — no charge
What’s Not Covered
- Physical damage from storms, impact, roof work, or accidents
- Damage from someone other than DFW LED Lite modifying the system
- Normal, expected changes to the home’s roofline done by other trades
- Misuse or unauthorized electrical changes
Something outside the warranty? We’ll still come out and give you an honest, fair repair quote.

Warranty FAQs
What does “lifetime workmanship” actually cover?
It covers the quality of our install — the labor, wiring, mounting, and channel alignment — for as long as you own your home. If anything we installed ever comes loose, sags, or fails because of how it was put up, we come back and fix it at no charge. The lifetime workmanship coverage is for the original homeowner and is non-transferable.
What does the 3-year parts warranty cover?
For 3 years from your install date, we cover full parts and labor on the LED lights and the aluminum track, plus the controller and power supply. If a covered part fails, we come out, diagnose it, and replace it — you don’t pay for the part or the visit.
Is the warranty the same as a “lifetime warranty”?
Not exactly, and we’re careful not to oversell it. Our coverage is a Lifetime Workmanship + 3-Year Parts Warranty: the workmanship (our install) is covered for as long as you own the home, and the parts (the LEDs and track) carry a full 3-year parts-and-labor warranty. That combination is stronger than the 1-year labor warranty most competitors offer.
What is not covered?
Physical damage from storms, impact, roof work, or accidents; damage caused by anyone other than DFW LED Lite modifying the system; and misuse or unauthorized electrical changes. If something outside the warranty happens, we’ll still come out and give you an honest, fair repair quote.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Just call or text us at (817) 915-3266, or use the contact form. Because we’re local and owner-operated, you talk to the same team that installed your lights — no call centers, no runaround. We’ll schedule a visit and take care of it.
